Great new Restaurants in Big Bay, Blouberg Strand
Tikibar
Your typical beach bar with funky music and GREAT drinks specials. At the moment they’re running 2 or the price of 1 between 5 and 8pm (not sure if it’s every day) on pretty much all drinks. Not really a restaurant, but more of a bar vibe.

Moyo
Also famously located on the Spier Wine Estate, Moyo’s a classical ‘African’ restaurant, but being on the beach they’ve brought in typical beach style, even featuring a splash pool for kids and a surfboard like table features at the entrance where you can sit with your feet literally in the water. A bit more in the pricey side, but their food is of excellent quality that you can only come to expect from the brand.

Capello
Nice big venue, with great views of the beach and good food. More of a breakfast/lunch venue, but always packed with action. Located on the end of the ‘strip’ you get a birds eye view of everything happening on the beach and in front of Eden on the Bay, so it’s a nice spot to park off after a long walk on the beach.

Ciao Baby Cucina
Another coffee shop / restaurant, with a great vibe. Food is quality and the people are friendly. A favorite for a cuppa in the morning…

More coming soon!!
A wonderful relaxing atmosphere. We took my son & daughter-in-law from USA to enjoy the vibes and restaurants! Have visited all above 3 restaurants and wow just fantastic! As for Moyo – the comment above about being pricy, well I didn’t think so – it was worth every cent. Sure will be visiting more often and have told everyone what an attraction Eden on the Bay is!!
Capello’s ! We arrived on busy Sunday morning for breakfast. The “marketing department” out front assured us that we could have anything on the menu, not only the buffet. After much shuffling to get a table, we were informed by the “sales team” that no, only buffet to be served until 11:00. The buffet is expensive and tasteless. Uncooked bacon, pebbles plucked from the beach served as croissants, dried, cold toast. We vow never to frequent Capello’s again.
Cappello! what a view, we went for their breakfast last sunday and how great they make and bake their ownscroissants and pastries you can taste the difference in the bought product of the restaurant nextdoor what a great vibe and experience the waitress was so friendly, I will go back!
Capello sushi’S THE BEST so far in town & the price is mouthwatering so we will call on them again .Shawn Japhta
